Methodology

Materials and procedures from the lab manual should be summarized in narrative form into concise paragraphs. The purpose is not to instruct someone HOW to perform the experiment step by step (procedure) but to describe WHAT happened (methodology). Do not list numbered steps. Do not remove the numbers from the online procedure and create one huge paragraph. Describe what happened in your own words using simple descriptive statements. Make sure to indicate whether there were any deviations to the online procedure. Cite the online lab manual procedure. Do not use personal pronouns.
